Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager in Randolph, VT who is passionate about building products that are unique, differentiated and disruptive in the LED lighting sector. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out new LED drivers, light engines, light modules and fixtures that meet and exceed the company’s objective.

Position

Product Manager Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, responsible for designing, building and rolling-out new LED drivers, light engines, light modules and fixtures by working with cross-functional teams. Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new and unique ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Develop market competitive product knowledge, literature and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market realization
  • Drive product launches including working with sales, marketing, engineering and executives
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management and other stakeholders
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in LED lighting or semiconductor experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Work experience in product/project management

Skills & Experience

  • Basic sales techniques and best practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products
  • Knowledge of DBA software a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with analytical, detail-oriented approach
  • Advanced technical understanding of LED lighting
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent verbal/written & computer skills
  • 4+ years of successful sales-related roles including inside or outside sales representative, or related support roles
