Job Summary

Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Director of Finance and Administration. The position’s primary focus is Accounts Receivable, and the position serves as an integral part of the Accounting and Administration team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the accounting department.
  • Responsible for customer payment applications, and supporting the accurate recording of revenue and receivables. Monitor bank account deposits regularly to track changes.
  • Provide customer statements periodically, as necessary.
  • Process customer credit card payments as necessary.
  • Responsible for the regular processing of PayPal receipts, recording, and reconciling to bank account.
  • Prepare and obtain credit references for new customers.
  • Work with the sales department to help ensure an accurate and up-to-date customer database.
  • Work with the sales department, and directly with customers, to facilitate timely customer payments.
  • Provide backup support for reception relating to incoming business phone calls, and greeting visitors to the facility.
  • Serve as primary backup for the Accounts Payable function. Perform general account analysis and reconciliations, as required.
  • Any other duties/tasks/analysis to support the organization as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with, or knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Some exposure to MRP systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of professionalism and personal integrity
  • Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines Associates Degree, and/or the equivalent relevant experience

Physical Demands

  • This is largely a desk role, however some filing is required, which requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend/stand as necessary

The Design Engineer helps to bring new ideas and new products to market. Responsibilities include
product design, design for manufacturing, and project management.

Responsibilities:
Create circuit design
Create PCB layouts
Mechanical design
Testing and analysis of electrical and/or mechanical designs
Design for manufacturing
Create work instructions to allow the Production Team to produce newly released products
Manage projects and adhere to delivery/release schedules
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects
Provide production support for release products

Skills and qualifications:
Experience with PCB layout software
Experience with circuit design
Experience with 3D CAD software
Experience with electrical testing and analysis
Be creative and able to present design options for customer needs
Ability to speak with customers to discuss projects
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be organized and able to keep track of multiple projects
Minimum of an Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
