Randolph, Vermont - LEDdynamics Inc., manufacurer of the LuxDrive line of LED drivers, has announced the opening of their new facility in Randolph, Vermont. Formally located in Rochester, Vermont, the company determind that the town of Rochester didn't offer adequate facilities and services to meet the needs of their rapidly expanding technology company and began looking for a new facility in neighboring towns as of January, 2004. "We decided to relocate to Randolph from Rochester due to the greater business infrastructure provided by the town, with multiple variety stores, better access to the interstate and, subsequently, larger metropolitan areas..." says Gary Proventure, Vice President of Operatioins for LEDdynamics. " We also currently have several graduates from Vermont Technical College on staff, so being close to the school allows us to maintain ties to the school as well as recruit new hires and apprentices from the programs there"
The new site, a 187,000 sqft manufacturing facility, was occupied by Ethan Allen Furniture unitl it was closed in June, 2002. "The Ethan Allen facility was chosen for its size, the amenities included and the ability to expand or contract as needed, something no other facility in the region could have offered us...but best of all, I can now walk to work!" The new facility will allow LEDdynamics to continue to provide complete engineering and manufacturing services to their rapidly expanding customer base and to meet increased demand for the LuxDrive line of LED products. |
