New York, New York - Este Lauder's Clinique counter in Bloomingdales received a "make-over" this week when LEDdynamics installed C.A.L.S. (counter accent lighting system) into their cosmetic display cases. C.A.L.S., designed by LEDdynamics Inc. of Rochester, Vermont, enables Clinique to change the color scheme of their counter lighting at the touch of a button. Each of the counters can be individually controlled, creating different colors for each display case. The CALs system consists of custom LED strips controlled be a laptop computer loaded with color changing software developed by LEDdynamics specifically for each Clinique store. LuxDrive LED drive modules provide the strips with the appropriate power and thermal management to optimize the performance and longevity of the state-of-the-art LED lighting system. The launch of C.A.L.S. in Cliniques' U.S. Flagship store, Bloomingdales, is the second system installed for Clinique. The first was in their flagship store in Europe, Selfridges in London. Clinique has announced plans to outfit 25 new stores with C.A.L.S. by the end of the 2004. |
