The New BoostPuck series of LED Drive Modules from LuxDrive allow LED strings to be powered from sources below the forward voltage of the series LED string. The BoostPuck from LuxDrive combines high efficiency, true constant current, and optional internal limiting / external dimming controls, into a package size designed to be incorporated into OEM products.

With an input voltage range of 5-28V DC* and available output current of 350mA, the BoostPuck LED drivers are the ideal choice for efficient LED operation with precise dimming control. The on-board 5VDC output/reference* provides power to external control circuits, eliminating the need for additonal power supplies mounted on the PC board.

Standard offering is a 0.83"x0.83"x0.43" electrically-insulated, encapsulated puck, weighing just 0.3oz. The BoostPuck is resistant to harsh environments and moisture, as well as open circuits.

The 4015 is supplied with 0.020" square pins for easy PC board mounting (optional wiring harness also available) and requires no additional heat sinking.

User-selectable current limiting allow for greater flexibility in design and easy color balancing in multi-channel color mix systems.
