DMX Control
DMX is a type of electronic communication often used for controlling lights and lighting systems. Many types of DMX controllers and control software packages are readily available for all types of lighting applications. DMX is often used for concert lighting, theatrical and studio sets, automated lighting systems and general illumination lighting control. Using a standard DMX controller (figure 1) with the QuadPuck DMX Driver interface is a fast and easy way to power and control LEDs.

Most DMX consoles use 3-pin or 5-pin XLR type connectors for DMX connections between units (see figures 2 & 3). An adaptor may be need to connect the DMX signal to the QuadPuck.
